Panda Bear Plate!

 What You Need:
Panda Bear Template
Paper Plates
Construction paper- Black & White- Any Color for the Bow
Stapler 
Glue
Black Crayon, Colored Pencil, or Marker

What You Do:  
Cut Panda Bear Template. You may have to make your own feet, toes and bow tie. 
Staple arms and ears behind the plate.
Staple feet in front of the plate.
Glue four white circles on top of each foot.
Glue the small black circles on the white circles; next glue the white circles on the big black circles
Glue the nose on the plate.
 Draw a mouth under the nose.
Glue the bow tie on the plate in front of the feet.
The children can use different kinds of colors for the bow tie.

Cupcake Collage!

What You Need:  
Construction Paper
Pick various Materials to use: Such as:
Construction Paper, Fabric, Yarn, Buttons, (Use your own Creativity!)
Scissors 
Glue
What You Do:
BE CREATIVE! :)
Make the cupcake holder by making a rectangle with angles on the sides.
Make the top of the cupcake by cutting the pieces round at the top and squiggly at the bottom. 
You can use red or blue circles for cherries or blueberries if you want!
Be creative with the toppings, holder decorations and background!
Use all kinds of materials from your house and use different shapes! 
Remember! 
BE CREATIVE! :D

Snake/ Frog and Puppy Zig Zag Hand Puppets!





What You Need: 
Colored Construction Paper (one whole piece and one half piece)
Scissors 
Glue 
Tape 
Markers 

What You Do For Zig Zag Puppets: 
Fold the whole piece of paper hamburger style and tape it together.
Do the thing with the half piece of paper.
 Put the folded half piece of paper inside of the folded whole piece of paper.
Zig zag your paper back and forth: fold up and down. 

 What You Do To Make A Snake/Frog Puppet: 
Glue the white on the black pupil  next on the green oval like shape.
Glue "eyes" on the puppet
Glue pink "tongue" inside of the puppets mouth  
Use a black maker to make two dots for its nose. 
Put your hands in the top and bottom openings of your puppets and make it talk! :)

 What You Do To Make A Puppy Puppet:
 Glue the white on the black circle on the white circle for the eyes and glue on the eyes on the surface of the puppet
Glue pink nose on the on the surface of the puppet
Glue long brown construction paper on the side of the surface of he puppet for the ears
Glue pink rounded piece of paper indie of the mouth of the puppet for the tongue.

*Note: This one is a little more complicated for children. Try folding one whole sheet of construction paper hotdog style. If you do that you will not need to use a half sheet of paper. Make sure to help the children with he zig zag and how it works. The final project is awesome and well worth it! :) 



Milky Way Master Piece!

What You Need:
Black Construction Paper
White Crayon 
 Glue
Sliver Glitter 

What You Do: 
 Use black construction paper to look like space.
Draw a big white circle 
Draw white squiggly lines from the middle
Trace the white lines with glue  
Pour glitter on glue (use a tray to be able to put the glitter back!)


Firework Painting!

What You Need:
White Paper 
Red White & Blue Paint
4 Pipe Cleaners (for one firework print)
Colorful Glitter 
 Plate or tray to set paint in
What You Do: 
Put 4 pipe cleaners together, bend them together, twist them together, leave enough room to bend the loose parts of the pipe cleaner back to make a firework print.
Pour colorful glitter on the paint to make your firework shine! 
Make sure you have pan to shake glitter on for easy clean up and to able to put the glitter back in it's container! :)
   



Flag Finger Print!

What You Need: 
White Sheet of Paper
Red White & Blue Paint
Plate or tray for paint
Star stickers (optional)

What You Do:
 Use red white and blue paint
dip fingers in paint and match the colors with the flag.
Good idea would be to put stars on the blue finger prints!

Marble Painting!

What You Need:
Cardboard Box or Coffee Can
White Sheet of Paper (whole or half sheet)
Various Colors of Paint 
 Dixie Cups 

What You Do: 

When using a cardboard box
take a whole sheet of white paper and place it inside the cardboard box. 
Pour various colors of paint in the Dixie cups. 
Dip the marbles in three or four colors.
Roll the marbles side to side and all around the paper on the cardboard.
 Watch all the different the colors run across the paper and make different sized lines and patterns! 
When using a Coffee Can:  
take a half sheet of white paper and place it inside of the coffee can. 
 Pour various colors of paint in the Dixie cups. 
Dip the marbles in three or four colors.
Place the marbles inside of the coffee can; close the lid roll the marbles around in the coffee can
Take the paper out and see the how the different colors, lines, and patterns turn out! :)

Tye Dye Sting Ray!

What You Need: 
Small sized coffee filter
Construction Paper
Markers
Spray Bottle (optional) 

What To Do:
 Color on a small sized filter with makers. Make it very colorful and be creative! 
Spray the coffee filter with water from a spray bottle or using your hands.
Draw eyes on your sting ray!
Make an ocean scenery! Be creative! Think of all the lovely things you can find in the ocean!  


Sun Master Pieces!

What You Need:  
Yellow Paint 
Yellow & Orange Markers 
Varies Sizes of Lids
Fork
White Construction Paper 
Paper Plate (For the Yellow Paint)

What You Do: 
 Traces various size lids with orange and yellow markers (for fiery sun colors)
Take a fork, dip it in the yellow paint lay it in the middle of the circles, and scoop from to the sides to make the rays. 

Button & Yarn Collage!

What You Need: 
Various Buttons 
Various Colors of Yarn
Colored Construction Paper

What You Do: 
Make a picture using yarn and buttons
Encourage children to use their imagination with the yarn and buttons. 
You can ask them what they see out side and put colors the scenery is.
For Example: Green for grass, blue for sky and yellow for sun. 

Suggested Book:
Helps children learn about various types of flowers and the plants parts.

Portal Word Wall!

Word Wall
What You Need:
Construction Paper
Computer Paper
Letter Dicots
Glue 

What You Do: 
The portable word wall
Cut rectangle pieces of paper in the dicot machine to make large letters
Cut white construction paper into rectangles; glue dicot letters on the paper
Cut colored construction to small lined sections & glue each to the back of white rectangle construction paper.  
Wall words
Cut out colored consturction paper into small rectangles. 
Type out colored words which have the same first letter as the words you choose for your Word Wall. Print & cut them out into small rectangle pieces. Glue on to small rectangle pieces of colored construction paper 

Word Wall of the Seasons!


Word Wall
The 4 Seasons!
What You Need:
Foldable White Board (or any color)
Construction Paper
Computer Paper
Dicots  
Glue
Velcro 

What You Do: 
Make pictures out of construction paper which will go with the seasons
Use words which will go with the seasons! (Words will vary depending on age group).
Use the soft side of velcro to stick on the foldable board
Use the rough side of velcro to stick on the seasonal shape (lamination highly suggested) 
Put the name of the season above the seasonal picture using colored construction paper behind it to make the word pop! 
 Leaf for Fall: 
I used orange construction paper and a dicot machine to make the leaf shape!
Fall Word Examples: Acorn, Candy Corn, Scarecrow, Leaves, Autumn, Rake, Pumpkins, Turkey


Snowflake for Winter: 
I used light blue construction paper and a dicot machine to make the snowflake shape!
Winter Word Examples: Snow, Snowflake, Christmas, Snow man, Sleigh Ride, Cold, Hot Chocolate
Sun for Summer: 
Cut out a circle from yellow construction paper, cut out yellow triangles, glue them to the back of the circle for the rays! 
Summer Word Examples: Sunshine, Hot, Beach, Sun Glasses Flip Flops


Flower for Spring: 
Cut out a green strip for the stem, and green leaves out of construction paper, I used yellow construction paper to cut out a circle for the middle of the flower, I used pink construction paper to cut out long oval like pieces for the peddles
Spring Word Examples: Butterfly, Rain, Rain Drops, Rainbow, Flower, Tulips, Kites, Umbrella
 
Use Your creativity!
Decorate your board with more seasonal shapes! I used a beach scene! (I printed out), jackolatern, Christmas tress, and a butterfly (all from a dicot machine)

 

Alphabet Flash Cards!

Alphabet Flash Cards
What you need:
Prints of alphabet letters, words & pictures
Colored Construction Paper   
What You Do:
Cut colored construction paper into rectangles
Find photos on google or use printables 
Type Upper case letter Lower case letter on top of the picture. Type matching word of letter and picture. (if not already not printable if being used)
Glue pictures on colored construction paper
