What You Need:
White construction paper or card stock
Brow and green construction paper for the tree
Brown paint
Googley Eyes
Orange construction paper for the beak
Scissors
Glue
What You Do:
Cut brown and green construction paper to make branches and glue the pieces on the paper
Have the children put their hand in the paint, and make a hand print on the branch
Have the children clean off their hands with wipes or wash their hands
Have the children place the googley eyes and the beak on the owl.
This is a great time to discuss order with the children! Where do the eyes go? Where does the beak go? Do the eyes go above or below the beak? The beak is the owl's mouth; are your eyes above or below your mouth?
